Wheelchair Putting

Wheelchair Putting is a new activity utilizing the Putt18 Putting Mat. It has special features to bring this fun golf putting mat game to all ages to the Wheelchair Community. Putt18 is portable and easy to roll out and put away into its carry case.

The Putt18 Wheelchair Putting mat game scores like a round of golf. Each players’ score is determined by where their ball finishes. Putt18 is very flexible, enabling single or group play for varying lengths of time. 

Putt18 Putters

We measure, fit and manufacture putters on an individual basis. The putters that we make are specially designed for people in wheelchairs and enable most people to play Putt18.

Putt18 Putter Sleeve

Putter Sleeves can help to stabilize the putter. The Putter Sleeves can be worn around the hand, around the forearm or around both if required. We have Small, Medium and Large sizes available. The Putter Sleeves are made in Australia from medical grade elastic. Simply attach the Putter Sleeve to either your arm and/or hand and insert the putter. Undo the Velcro to remove the putter.

  • Play 9 or 18 holes
  • Play single player or team scoring 
  • Stroke play or Match play
  • Putt for pars, birdies and eagles
  • Avoid the water and bunkers just like a real game of golf
  • Play your Wild Cards to change the game
  • The Mulligan Card allows you to replay one shot
  • The Bonus Hole Card reduces your score by one point on one hole
  • The Challenge Card lets you make another player replay their shot

    We used the PUTT18 kit as part of our small school Kindergarten - Year 6 golf program for sport. Two of our students have special needs that require them to be in wheelchairs and/or walkers and they were able to participate by using the special putters provided in our kit. These putters were ordered especially for these students by quickly and easily making some simple measurements and contacting the company ensuring that the equipment was of a suitable size for them.     The Putt18 kit was given its first outing at our school Fun Fair. It was an immediate hit with dads who were keen to get involved with their children and show-off their putting skills.  Students also really enjoyed the format and being able to score a 'birdie' or hole-in-one.  As we also have students with complex physical challenges, the adapted putters and larger ball size enabled supported inclusion for all students. The Putt18 kit has increased student engagement and participation in physical activity at our school where space is limited

Hi my name is Dave Sawtell. I’m the 2014 world long drive golf champion for people in wheelchairs, I’m also a World and Guinness World record holder. I myself have been helping with Putt18 and I fully recommend Putt18.

 It is a great way for all disable people like myself to get out and be active be that in schools or social activities on weekends.

It will be great to see this going for all abilities able or disable.
